Transcript of “Islam: The Religion of Injustice”
When they hear the word Islam, most Americans think of terrorism. However, terrorism is only one manifestation of the fundamentally alien nature of the religion practiced by 1.8 billion world-wide. Americans and other westerners believe that people have natural rights and that these are the foundation of a just society. But Muslims show a shocking lack of regard for the right to free expression, the right to worship as one pleases, even the right to life itself. Moreover, when they immigrate to Western nations, Muslims do not adopt our values. They thus represent a threat to our way of life.
According to Freedom House, an organization that evaluates each nation’s record on political rights and civil liberties, the Muslim world is the least free region on earth. Nations get high marks for freedom if their governments allow fair elections by secret ballot and tolerate criticism by the media and citizens. In the top map in this slide, the Muslim world is colored green. The bottom map shows the Freedom House rankings of nations for 2008. Nations ranked not free are colored dark blue, partly free nations are yellow, and free nations are green. Most of the Muslim world is not free.
In Iran and Saudi Arabia, for example, people are regularly punished by law for criticizing the very narrow interpretation of Islam sanctioned by the state. In Saudi Arabia, women cannot leave their homes unless they are accompanied by a male relative or have the written permission of their guardians.
Abuse of women is common in the Islamic world. For example, in Pakistan, 50 to 90 percent of women experience some form of violence, including domestic beatings, rape, and even “acid attacks.” Victims encounter unresponsiveness and hostility from the criminal justice system, which regards violence against women as part of the natural order of things.
Traditional Islamic law sanctions the murder of women who are believed to have disgraced the family’s honor. Between 2001 and 2008, there were 4,100 of such so-called “honor killings” in Pakistan. Men may kill their female relatives for having extra-marital sex, for refusing to agree an arranged marriage, or even for merely violating Islamic dress codes. Rape victims are often targeted in honor killings, as some Muslims interpret rape as a form of adultery. Traditional Islamic law also demands that women who commit adultery be stoned to death. (A stoning victim is depicted here.) Stoning is still legal in six Muslim nations.
Moreover, the evidence suggests that Muslims do not adopt Western values when they immigrate to Western nations. Take Britain for example. A survey there found that 62 percent of Muslims did not believe that freedom of speech should be protected; 28 percent hoped Britain would one day become a fundamentalist Islamic state; 24 percent supported the July 7, 2005 terror bombings in London that killed 52 people.
Unfortunately, there have been no surveys of Muslims in America that asked them what they thought of freedom of speech and other Western values. However, what information we do have gives us cause to fear the worst. Of course, the official line is that Muslims are assimilating beautifully, becoming “middle-class and mostly mainstream,” to quote the title of a 2006 survey. However, the facts tell a different story. As the Washington Post says, “the real story of American Muslims is one of accelerating alienation from the mainstream of U.S. life, with Muslims in this country choosing their Islamic identity over their American one.”
According to a Pew Research Center survey, only a minority of American Muslims believe1 that Muslim immigrants should adopt American customs. Even more disturbingly, US-born Muslims are less likely to believe in assimilation than foreign-born ones. A majority of young Muslims say that they think of themselves as Muslims first, rather than Americans first. Moreover, young Muslims are more likely to report that they are Muslims first than older Muslims are. The very opposite of assimilation is occurring: younger, native-born Muslims are more radical than others.
Only 58 percent of American Muslims say that they have a “very unfavorable” view of al-Qaeda. Twenty-seven percent say that they don’t know what their opinion is or refuse to answer the question. Five percent are willing to tell a stranger over the telephone that they feel favorably towards al-Qaeda. Since Muslims are suspicious of authorities, this is certainly an underestimate of the real support that al-Qaeda enjoys. That makes a total of 70,000 Muslims in the United States who publicly admit that they support al-Qaeda. Nearly 400,000 don’t know or refuse to answer.2
One of the most shocking facts about American Muslims is that only a minority of them believe Arabs were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. And this is also true of Muslims around the world. In Great Britain and Pakistan, less than 20 percent of Muslims believe Arabs were responsible for 9/11. Imagine what this implies. The majority of American Muslims are so alienated from our country, and so suspicious of it, that they think our media and our government are simply lying in order to make Muslims look bad. Muslims’ denial of their responsibility for 9/11 shows an appalling lack of respect for the victims of the attacks and suggests that Muslims are incapable of self-criticism. There is no probably no population in the world with better cause for self-criticism than Muslims, but none that is less capable of it.
This paranoia fuels the radicalism preached by many mosques and other Muslim organizations in the US. During meetings at these places, extremists indoctrinate Muslims with hatred of the West and its values, and even recruit terrorists. One Muslim journalist has said that many mosques in his city use instructional materials that “give [Muslims] all the grievances that Osama Bin Laden has… They talk about nothing but jihad and it’s the best thing that can happen to a Muslim.” And other evidence suggests the same is happening all around the country.
White people invented the modern concepts of human rights and of the just society, and white nations show the greatest respect for these ideals. People from other parts of the world may eventually adopt Western values if they are allowed to immigrate to the United States, but as the facts presented here suggest, they may well not. My attitude is, why risk it? I love the America that white people have built, and I see little to be gained, but much to be lost, from importing other peoples.

Glad you liked it. That’s the “Bacchanale” from the opera Samson and Dalilah by Camille Saint-Saens—listen to the whole thing. The music depicts the savage rejoicing of the Philistines after shearing off Samson’s locks. The music’s appropriate for this video because it’s about the triumph of evil over good and because the Philistines were the ancestors of today’s Muslims. Too bad I didn’t get to use more of it.
With the microphone I have, I can eliminate that background buzz, but the quality of the recording of my voice is also affected. The background buzz is the lesser of the evils in my view. If anyone has any advice about affordable microphones that can be used with a computer, please chime in.
An effective presentation of solid data. “What is to be gained by importing Islam” (or Mexico, China, India and so on) into the US is a good and pertinent question for debates concerning immigration.
History shows the true nature of the Muslim “death cult” better than any other medium, however, people are lazy when it comes to reading so bravo for the film.
High marks on the professionalism of the film and I do not think it is too long. My only concern is that it does not appear to be any different in content or tone from any standard conservative webfilm on islam that I have seen.
If the intention is provide a trojan horse to get your average conservative to visit your site then I think it will work. If it is to educate the viewer on a racial perspective then I think it will not.
I hate to break this to you, but Afghans are not Arabs therefore Arabs were primarily not responsible for 9/11. They are South Asians. Now Bin Laden was originally Saudi Arabian, but most of the Taliban are not Arab. They are more closely related to Persians and classical Indians (not what exists in India today).
The majority of the hijackers were Saudis, and the rest were from the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Egypt. All Arabs. So your revelation isn’t too crushing.
You are the anti-VDARE, the anti-iSteve, in the sense that your site is graphic and design rich yet relatively content-low, meaning, not that the content is bad, but just that you do not update your site very often.
It’s true that I haven’t been updating my site very often in the past few months. I’m undertaking novel and ambitious projects these days that require a lot of research or other effort. My view is that there’s already enough race realist blogging and linkfesting going on these days, and so I don’t need to do more. I also find that the easier it is to write something, the less original it is. During the first half of last year, I ran an ordinary blog with daily updates, but was disappointed with the quality of the material and decided daily blogging was a misuse of my energies.
A fine effort. It takes considerable courage to attach one’s name to controversial content like this in America today. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Ian for such a succinct piece of journalism. I came across this quite by accident and though I’m not a U.S. citizen I can say we have similar problems growing in leaps and bounds in Canada. Please, I’m really sorry if the content of my comment will provoke you, It was’nt my intention to do that. What I noticed from your article is that your love for american believe is great and you are looking for every means to fight Islam which is the only threat to american believe. Well, only those that doesnt understand islam will be misguided by the content of your article. Its unfortunate that your hatered for Islam had made you to write this article. How nice will it have been if you could have understand islam and actually understand what it stand for. There is beauty in Islam only if you could research on it with high level of sincerity. Please my brother, never attribute all the behaviour of muslims to islam but you should understand that irrespective of anybodys’ religion and believe, there is individual differences and there is adulteration of fundamental believe of any religion. Try to understand at this point that not all arabs are muslim and not all muslims understand the fundamental believe of islam and so if such muslim that doest understand islam acts, dont ascribe it to islam. Please try to research on islam sincerely so as to identify those behaviours of muslim that can be attributed to islam. A muslim converts ones said that He thank Allah for making him to know islam before knowing muslim, had it been that he knows the muslim before islam, he would’nt have accepted islam. Interesting video. Some of those pictures were hard to look at, but I guess it’s what people need to see.
I would have liked to hear more about specific muslim crimes in the US. The mainstream media doesn’t report much on them, and the average person who might watch your video doesn’t read Vdare on a daily basis. There is lots to go with here; a beheading in New York State recently for starters. I think a wife or daughter got thrown out of a third story window last year too. Plus tons of other crimes that I don’t remember off the top of my head. Also, maybe talk about the recent shooting at the recruiting office. Or Obama’s feel good tour of the muslim world recently.
You also seem to have a weird audio feedback thing going on. I heard quite a loud hum for the duration of the movie, and it sounds very unprofessional.
What was the song that played briefly at the start of the film? It was beautiful.
